Painted Rainbow Caterpillar welcomes kids to the Classroom
It’s such a joy to see children excited to learn! When kids and their families enter this Early Education Daycare, they are greeted by a Mural of bright painted flowers and smiling garden bugs, who guide them down the ramp and into the welcome area, and get them ready for a fun day of activities!
“A Happy, Bright, Fun, Welcoming Garden,” was what Blossoming Minds Childcare Center asked us to create for their new location in Southbury, CT. Mural Envy designed simple, colorful flowers to adorn the ADA ramp and the Reception Desk. We also painted the Daycare’s logo prominently above the desk, large enough to be seen through the glass from outside.
But the most fun we had with this colorful Daycare Center Mural project was painting the cartoon garden bugs that represent each classroom age group. Ladybugs, grasshoppers, butterflies, caterpillars, dragonflies, and bumblebees all live among the hand-painted flowers. Kids excitedly greet their happy insect friends each morning as they begin a new day of learning. We are so glad to be a part of bringing smiles to young faces!
