The Pleasantville Diner is an iconic American diner in the heart of Pleasantville, New York. Its classic, mid-century decor makes it a comfortable, welcoming place for commuters to grab a cup of coffee before taking the train into Manhattan.
After a recent renovation, two odd blank stretches of wall remained that left the otherwise charming decor feeling unfinished. The owners envisioned some sort of signage that would tie the whole interior together.
We brought that vision to life with two custom designed, hand-painted signs that highlighted the mid-century vibe and also reinforced the diner’s strong brand. The diner staff and regulars enjoyed watching the wall murals take shape over the three days it took to paint the murals on-site.
Client Testimonial
Amazing work! Our diner looks complete and we couldn’t have done it without Toni, Mural Envy. Talented, great ideas and completed quickly is just to name a few reasons why we are so delighted to have worked with Toni! Thanks so much for giving all of us something beautiful to look at for years to come!
